"Ollie" has been collecting new & used parts for Oliver and related outboards for many years and has acquired a large collection of mostly New Old Stock (NOS) parts and accessories that originated with one of Oliver's main outboard parts distributors. Since Ollie now has enough of certain parts to last several lifetimes, and to help promote the restoration and preservation of Oliver Outboards and their related 'cousins', he is making the parts available to the public through this web-site. All parts and accessories listed, unless noted otherwise, are NOS that originated with Oliver or Perkins or their suppliers. Some items show evidence of 'shelf wear' or slight corrosion but all are deemed useable and can be cleaned up if required to 'show quality'. The coils offered herein are tested by us just prior to shipping to insure they meet factory specs. As many of you know, Bendix coils are susceptible to cracking of the outer insulation so we highly recommend that you clean and liberally coat the existing insulation with a product such as liquid electrical tape to insure continued good service. As mentioned above, we test the coils prior to shipment but cannot warranty them. Seems that Oliver's Warranty Department closed down almost 50 years ago! The parts currently listed are only a fraction of the items in our facility. Updating the listings is a big task for our large staff of one and we expect it will take many more months of work to complete the job and get everything listed. Bear with us as we continue to build the site. Feel free to e-mail about anything Oliver related that you might need but do not see here. Likely we can be of assistance right away. Eventually, we expect to have all Oliver, Chris-Craft, Perkins and Anzani parts manuals made a part of this catalog to assist in the ordering, repair and restoration of our pals. A complete "where used" listing is already in the works and will be available "some day" along with a bunch of other goodies.
