Street sign submitted by Jack Pedersen.
Curators note:  Jack tells us that this sign actually was on the street by the factory building in Battle Creek where they manufactured the motors.   He says that Ed Jordan (an Oliver engineer back in the outboard days) told him that he remembers passing this sign every day.  The thumbnail above has been "altered" by us to take away some of the signs of age.  The real picture, retreivable by clicking on the image, shows the sign as it actually exists today.

1998 Toronto International Boat Show

Above left to right:  Oliver 16 owned by John Kwast & Oliver 6, owned by Art Dolings;  Chris-Craft 5, also owned by John;  Wizard 15 of Dave Morrison.  Display was part of the Toronto show's 40th anniversary celebration.  Motors were supplied by members of the Maple Leaf Chapter of the Antique Outboard Motor Club.  Both John & Dave are very active members.
